For our Math Instruction course, I created an interactive resource for parents who would struggle to understand the new Common Core math standards. I chose to create a Google Slides with an overview of Common Core, how and why it differs from the past, an example of Common Core, and some additional resources for parents to access.

In our Foundations of Multiple Subjects class, I discussed weaknesses and strengths of past methods of assessing children's intelligences. I argued the value of approaching students without preconceptions and differentiating students for who they are as individuals.

I worked together with other group members to create a Kindergarten lesson plan on phonemic awareness. We utilized the Guided Inquiry Lesson Design Format and focused on accommodating for ELD standards.

In our Equitable Teaching Practices course, we developed resources for a target community. My group wanted to focus on Latinx communities because our placement sites are largely made up of those students.
